1. Go to the UpdraftPlus Settings menu and click Restore.
2. Select the backup set you want to restore from the drop-down menu.
3. Select the files, database and plugins that you want to restore from the drop-down menu.
4. Click on the “Restore Now” button to begin the recovery process.
5. The restore process can take several minutes to complete. You will be provided with a confirmation message when it’s complete.UpdraftPlus works by creating a backup of your website's files, databases, as well as any other content you have. It stores these backups on either a remote storage location such as Dropbox, Amazon S3, Google Drive, FTP, and email or it stores them locally on the server. The backups it creates can then be used to restore the site at any time if something goes wrong or you make a mistake. The UpdraftPlus plugin also includes additional features such as scheduling, a built-in migration tool, and cloning.1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Plugins menu, and click "Add New".
3. Search for UpdraftPlus and click Install Now.
4. Once the plugin is installed, click Activate Plugin.
5. Go to the Settings tab and locate UpdraftPlus.
6. Click Restore.
7. Select the backup file you want to restore, then click Restore.
8. Wait for the plugin to restore the site.
9. Once the restoration is completed, check your site to make sure it is restored correctly.1. Login to your WordPress Admin Panel.
2. Go to Plugins > Add New.
3. Search for UpdraftPlus, click Install Now then Activate.
4. Once activated, go back to your WordPress Dashboard
5. Click Settings > UpdraftPlus Backups.
6. Click Settings tab on the left-side column.
7. Under the General Settings section, choose your desired backup schedule and type of file storage.
8. Under the Advanced Settings section, choose where you want to store your backup files.
9. Click the Save Changes button.
10. At the bottom of the page, click the Back Up Now button to begin the process.
11. When finished, a message will appear saying the backup was successfully completed.
